Ingredients for Carrot Halwa
Carrot – 1 kg
Mawa (khoya) – 1 cup
Milk – 2 cups
Almonds – 8-10
Cashew – 8-10
Pistachios – 8-10
Raisins – 1 tbsp
Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
Desi ghee – 1/2 cup
Sugar – 1 cup (as per taste)

Carrot Halwa Recipe
If you want to make carrot pudding full of taste, then first wash the carrots with water and wipe them with a cotton cloth. After this grate the carrots. If you want, you can also grate the carrot after peeling it. Now cut finely pieces of cashews, almonds, pistachios. After this, put milk in a pan and keep it on medium flame to heat. After one minute, add grated carrots to the milk.

After mixing the carrots well in the milk, let it cook. As long as the mixture is cooking, keep stirring it from time to time with the help of a ladle. Let this mixture cook until the milk becomes thick and the carrot water dries up completely. After this add desi ghee and sugar as per taste to the mixture and mix it well. During this, keep the gas flame on medium only.

Now cook the halwa while stirring till the sugar dissolves well. After this add mawa to the carrot halwa and mix it well. Mash it well before adding mawa. After this add chopped cashews, pistachios, almonds and raisins to the halwa and mix. Lastly, add cardamom powder and cook the halwa. It may take 30-35 minutes for the halwa to cook completely. After this turn off the gas. Your delicious Carrot Halwa is ready. Garnish it with dry fruits before serving.
